Trader receives $157,000 from Viral Baby Hippo Moodeng and AI Meme Coin Sensation GOAT

Moodeng MOODENG/USD And Goatseus Maximus GOAT/USD continue to make headlines in the meme coin world as both coins bring traders significant profits on sustained rallies.

What happened: On-chain analytics provider Lookonchain highlighted a trader who purchased 2.77 million MOODENG for 1,300 Solana SOL/USDsold it for 2,109 SOL and made a net profit of $140,000 (809 SOL). A similar strategy was used the previous day for GOAT, where the trader quickly reached 99 SOL, equivalent to $17,000, by benefiting from Binance's announcement of the listing of both coins' perpetual contracts.

This incident highlights the profit potential – and risk – of trading newly listed assets on major exchanges like Binance. However, this strategy also involves significant risk, as the value of newly listed cryptocurrencies can fluctuate significantly.

Why it matters: Following significant recent gains for Moodeng and GOAT, crypto trader CryptoBull 360 highlighted that Moodeng has strongly broken through falling wedge resistance following Binance's perpetual listing announcement. Given the increasing volume and strong momentum, the coin is seen as having significant growth potential, prompting traders to keep a close eye.

Meanwhile, Astronomer Zero noted GOAT's 33% decline from its all-time high but remains optimistic. He commented: “The price level, timing and sentiment suggest a longer correction is needed, which is why I sold above $0.8.” Despite the current downtrend, he expects GOAT to reach new highs will, and sees below $0.3 as a potential entry point for another rally to all-time highs in the future.

What's next?: The influence of meme coins is expected to be explored in depth at Benzinga’s upcoming “Future of Digital Assets” event on November 19th.
