Officers said they found the injured teen with multiple gunshot wounds and immediately began providing medical aid.

WJZ said authorities found the boy nearly a block away.

This appears to be a targeted shooting, Lt. AJ Gardiner of the Anne Arundel County Police Department told WJZ.

“I think it’s important for people to get involved. Violence occurs on our streets because we are unable to resolve an argument in a more adult manner,” Gardiner told WJZ.

Officials are still investigating.

Authorities asked anyone with information to call (410) 222-6155. Tipsters can remain anonymous by dialing (410) 222-4700.
