Dave Chapelle and Killer Mike are coming to Oakland

Grammy- and Emmy-winning comedian Dave Chapelle and four-time Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike of the group Run the Jewels are co-headlining acts I'm still talking about this shit! The tour takes place on Saturday, November 23rd at the Paramount Theater.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, October 25th at 12pm via Ticketmaster.

The special show, which combines comedy and music, was announced Wednesday and Oakland is one of seven cities on the tour, produced by Live Nation. It begins November 15th in Detroit and ends November 24th in Long Beach.

In an Instagram post, Killer Mike said the tour came about after the two entertainers hung out at the Blue Flame Lounge, a strip club in Atlanta. The duo recently collaborated on Killer Mike's song Run with a monologue by Chapelle.

“After the good times, he hugs me and says, 'We should go on tour!'” the rapper, whose real name is Michael Santiago Render, wrote in the post.

Chapelle recently performed stand-up at the Punch Line Comedy Club in San Francisco. Killer Mike recently completed this Down By Law Law next to his live band The Mighty Midnight Revival. Killer Mike has also been politically active and is currently part of the Vote or Else movement.
