Man wanted for selling fentanyl in Paducah was arrested in Pennsylvania

PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) – A man wanted for selling fentanyl in western Kentucky was recently arrested in Pennsylvania.

Ronnie “Ty” Copeland, 32, of Paducah, was arrested on a warrant for aggravated trafficking in a controlled substance, initially fentanyl.

Investigators found Copeland at a home in Pennsylvania, according to a news release from the Paducah Police Department.

They worked with the Baldwin Borough Police Department to arrest Copeland on the warrant.

According to police, investigators found approximately 4,500 fentanyl pills and a handgun at a home in Paducah in connection with this investigation.

Two other people were arrested in western Kentucky in September.

The investigation began after approximately 1,500 fentanyl pills were found during a traffic stop in Paducah, Kentucky.
