Teen sent to hospital after hit-and-run in Manhattan

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police in Manhattan are asking the public for help Friday after a male teenager was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident.

The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) said in a social media post that a 16-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Lee and Anderson streets around 7:30 a.m. on October 25. The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police ask anyone with information about this situation to contact law enforcement at 785-537-2112. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777 or 1-800-222-8477.
