Simone Biles defends husband Jonathan Owens against backlash over viral “catch” comments

Simone Biles is trying to clear up her husband Jonathan Owens' controversial comments since his 2023 interview The pivotal point Podcast.

Despite all the criticism over the past year, the happy couple has proven that they are above the negativity. On Instagram, Owens wrote: “Unaffected. All I know is that we're locked in here.” Meanwhile, Biles claimed she and Owens were together for “a lifetime.”

“I turned off all my social media notifications, so I didn’t even know for a while,” Owens told the outlet.

“I was actually with my mom and Simone whenever it came out, so I just let them read all the comments and everything. I try to stay out of it, and of course when you feel like things are getting out of control, you take action and say something.

“I don't want to curse, but damned if you do, damned if you don't,” he continued to tell the outlet. “If you say something, they will say something; If you don't say anything, they will say something.

“So, just live your life. People are going to talk about you anyway, so you might as well do it however you want,” he added.
