Driver injured in crash near Royalton

ROYALTON (WJON News) – A man was injured in a crash in Benton County Tuesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred just after 7 a.m. on Highway 10 near Royalton.

Eighty-eight years old Keith Lockhart of St. Paul was driving north when he swerved to avoid another vehicle that had entered the roadway from Halfway Crossing and then rolled through the median into the southbound lanes.

Lockhart was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
