APD responds to pedestrian accident on N I-35 NB, road closures in effect

Austin police are responding to a crash between a car and a pedestrian Friday night on northbound I-35.

APD posted on social media that they responded to the crash in the 100 block of N I-35 Northbound around 11 p.m.

APD said the road was closed between East Riverside Drive and Cesar Chavez Street.

They are asking people to avoid the area and to expect delays.

It is unclear how many people were injured and how many vehicles were involved.
