Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to help him track down a seemingly die-hard fan of him and his team Al-Nassr, who was seen crying at his team's game in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The man was captured on a bystander's camera while the fan, dressed in Ronaldo's jersey, appeared to burst into tears because Ronaldo did not appear in the competition.

The man's desperation could be seen in the heartbreaking video, as the fan who was also chanting Ronaldo's name was probably just there to see his idol play live, but alas.

Given the viral clip, it seems like Ronaldo is already working on putting things right.

Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr, expressed his gratitude for the support and looks forward to organizing a meeting to reciprocate the fan's touching gesture.

Ronaldo shared the post on his X-page and asked his 113 million followers: “Look for him!”

“Any info would be appreciated,” he added.

To date, the post has been viewed almost 25 million times online. Thousands of users shared the video and offered information in hopes of helping Ronaldo find the emotional fan.

Ronaldo, known for his strong connection with his fans and his deep gratitude for their support, expressed his desire to meet the fan and personally thank him for his unwavering admiration.

Why Ronaldo did not attend the game still remains a mystery, although many believe it could be related to the viral infection he was diagnosed with last month.
