Southend dad's Yorkshire pudding Halloween costume goes viral

The puddings are threaded together and spray painted to prevent them from spoiling before Halloween.

He said: “We have a 10 rack combination oven which is an absolute godsend and with Aldi next door it makes access to eggs, milk and flour easy.”

“We made the breastplate like medieval armor, so we burned chicken wire into the Yorkshire fabric, then tied a string to it and then hung it over the top.”

“It hung at the bottom of the stairs for months. Every time you walked through the door you would jump and forget it was there.”

Mr Paley said he previously made the costumes for his middle son, who has since left to go to university, but was glad the tradition had continued.
