Tom Holland Makes Fans Swoon as Viral Clip Shows Him Protecting Zendaya from Being Bullied in New York: 'He's Not Playing'

Fans are swooning over Tom Holland as he pushes through the crowd of paparazzi chasing his girlfriend Zendaya at the launch of his non-alcoholic beer brand Bero in New York City. The duo made their way to the venue in matching burgundy outfits, but were soon surrounded by a crowd of fans and camera crews. A recent clip has gone viral on the internet and fans of the Spider-Man co-stars-turned-lovers can't get enough.

While Tom was able to slightly push the photographers to get to the Euphoria star, he saw her being swarmed by fans waiting for her pictures. Without thinking, he turned around, held her hand, and led her out of the crowd.

Fans went wild online as one X user responded: “Still can’t get over the video of Tom protecting Zendaya. HE DOESN’T PLAY YYYYYY.”

In the video circulating online, people see a protective Tom saying “No, no, no” to the crowd crowding him to get a glimpse of the Challengers star.

He was immediately treated to a shy smile from his girlfriend, who loudly said “It’s okay” to him. With some effort, the couple managed to hug when they finally arrived at the venue later.

Another user couldn't fan themselves until after watching the clip, writing: “Tom protects Zendaya from the aggressive paps and overwhelming fans.”

Holland asked many photographers to step aside so he could protect the Dune star. Later that evening, not once but twice, he had to stand between her and a group of people chasing her around looking for photos and autographs.

One X user praised the Uncharted actor for his courage and quick action when he came to her aid. The fan wrote: “Man, Tom doesn’t play around when it comes to Zendaya. What a MAN. And besides, this incident is so scary!!”

Fans also reacted to Zendaya's reaction during the incident, with one X user commenting: “Women eat this shit by the way, look at the way she looks at him when she comes back to her.”

The actress sported her flamboyant auburn hair and wore a floor-length burgundy leather dress. In contrast, Tom wore a casual outfit consisting of a deep red T-shirt and black pants, which went well with his lover's elegant clothing.

The couple first met during the filming of the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, which saw dating “rumors” swirl but have been staunchly denied over the years.

Many fans took to social media platforms and one liked Tom's gesture, saying, “This is just another reason why he is loved.” Others described the duo as “a power couple” and noted Tom's gentlemanly behavior. One fan commented, “Tom is so overprotective of Zendaya.”

However, in 2021, pictures of the two kissing in Los Angeles were released online. In the same year, Tom Holland shared his views that the couple's privacy tended to be compromised due to their fame. He told GQ that these physical displays of affection are closely watched by fans and the media, even though these moments were intended solely for the couple.
