PSP RELEASES DETAILS OF THREE VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON WAYNE AVENUE

State Police released details of a three-vehicle crash on Wayne Avenue on Tuesday.

The accident was reported at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Wayne and Old Route 119 as Daniel Turney of Shelocta was driving north on Wayne Avenue in his pickup truck. Jaymie Howe, 28, was driving south on the same road, and as Turney turned left toward Old 119, he entered the path of Howe's vehicle. The impact ejected Howe's truck, and Turney's truck continued to cross the median and struck a truck driven by Harvey Hostetler of Homer City.

A passenger in Turney's truck suffered serious injuries and Howe suffered possible injuries. The two were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment.
