A single car accident near Willmar sends one person to the hospital

DOVRE TOWNSHIP (WJON News) – One person was injured in a car accident near Willmar Friday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an SUV was being driven by an 85-year-old man Sharon Olson of Spicer was traveling north on Highway 71 around 2:20 p.m. when she crashed into the median barrier.

Olson was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
