Oshkosh police conducted their largest drug raid of a day on Thursday

Oshkosh Police executed two search warrants on Thursday, October 24, 2024, which resulted in the seizure of not only a significant amount of drugs, but also nearly a third of a million dollars in cash.

The locations of the search warrants are residences in the 1700 block of Lombard Ave and the 1000 block of Mt. Vernon St, both in Oshkosh.

The department says: Based on drug complaints from the public and a subsequent drug investigation, investigators with the Oshkosh Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Division have established grounds for a search warrant for the Lombard Avenue location. At 6:14 a.m. Thursday morning, they executed the search warrant and seized approximately 30 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and over $3,000 in cash.

Later that day, investigators executed the additional search warrant at the Mt. Vernon St. address and seized over $330,000 in cash, approximately 7.5 pounds of raw marijuana/THC, over 1,000 THC cartridges and approximately one kilogram of cocaine . Investigators also seized three vehicles believed to have been purchased with money from the sale and distribution of illegal drugs. Investigators are also currently investigating several bank accounts believed to contain hundreds of thousands of dollars, which are believed to be related to the sale and distribution of illegal drugs.

A 51-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession with intent to deliver cocaine over 40 grams, and possession with intent to deliver THC over 2,500 grams to 10,000 grams.
