Woman seriously injured on e-scooter after incident in Dundalk – The Irish Times

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a woman riding an e-scooter was discovered with serious injuries on a street in Dundalk on Friday evening.

She is in her 20s and was found on Tom Bellew Avenue in the Co Louth town at around 9.30pm. The injured woman was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where she is receiving treatment. Her condition is described as serious.

The crime scene has been preserved for forensic examination and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Specifically, they want to find out something about road users or pedestrians in the area between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

They have also asked anyone who may have camera footage (including dashcam) of the incident and preparations to provide it.
