Man accused of hitting someone with tire iron

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) – A man is accused of hitting someone with a tire iron.

Police say Joshua Minks assaulted someone at an apartment on River Chase Path.

A criminal complaint says he used a key to get in.

By the time emergency services arrived, Minks had already left the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital.

Minks is charged with burglary and assault.
