Deion Sanders is urging Colorado football fans to stop throwing things

During the first quarter of Saturday's game against Cincinnati, Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders took a proactive approach and prevented a frustrated Folsom Field crowd from throwing objects onto the playing field.

Buffs fans thought they had seen wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. take a screen pass to the house for a touchdown, but the score would be wiped out by a taunting penalty against Horn, given to a Bearcat defender who was chasing him , which showed peace signs. Colorado scored on a touchdown catch by Travis Hunter five plays later, but fans remained upset about the referees' previous penalty.

After CU kicked the extra point, Coach Prime grabbed a microphone and implored fans at Folsom Field to stop throwing anything onto the field. Sanders thanked fans for their support before ending his speech by reviving the crowd.
