3 questions for Auburn Hoops going on display at Furman

Bruce Pearl knows he sounds like a broken record at this point.

He estimated Thursday that if you were to go back to his last six or seven preseason sessions at Auburn and cut out his press conferences, he would be talking about the same thing: the fact that he can't wait to get his Tigers on the field play some real basketball.

Luckily for Pearl and Auburn, the wait is almost over. The Tigers have two appearances next week before their highly anticipated 2024-25 season begins Nov. 6 at home against Vermont. Auburn travels to Greenville, South Carolina for the first time this Sunday to face Furman, a team the Tigers played in a private scrimmage last year. However, this event will be held publicly and for charity in the city of Greenville. Next Friday, Auburn will host an FAU exhibition to raise money for the university's Melton Scholars Program, with the goal of increasing access and providing funding to underrepresented students at Auburn.
