CeeDee Lamb revealed that he, along with Dak Prescott, made some changes to his approach during the Dallas Cowboys' Week 7 bye.

“Obviously it's well known by now that me and Dak are a nice duo,” Lamb told NBC Sports' Jason Garrett (5:00 mark). “We complement each other well. So we know it's a game of adjustments. Whoever can adapt the most wins the game. So we've definitely made some adjustments this bye week and we'll take care of that. “Attack those defenses from different areas and that's where the fun of the game lies.”

The Cowboys could use an offensive adjustment as they are just 3-3 in six games following last year's NFC East title. After scoring 33 points in a season-opening win over the Cleveland Browns, Dallas has averaged just 18.6 points per game in five games since.

This is a disappointing stretch, especially considering the Cowboys finished the 2023 season with the NFL's best offense.

Lamb and Prescott have struggled to get on the same page, as the three-time Pro Bowl wideout is averaging 77.8 yards per game in six appearances. While that's hardly a subpar performance, it still represents a decline from his 102.9 yards per game average in 2023.

Lamb has also recorded just two touchdowns after finding the end zone 12 times last season.

Prescott also failed to exceed expectations, despite completing 63.4 percent of his passes for 1,602 yards. After throwing just nine interceptions in 2023, he has already been picked off six times in six starts.

Dallas still has more than enough time to turn the season around, but it has to start with Lamb and Prescott. They will try to bounce back after the bye in the Cowboys' upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
