After the traffic stop in Vass, two people were arrested on drug charges

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of two people following a traffic stop in the Vass area.

On October 15, investigators with the Moore County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop in the 4800 block of US Highway 1 in Vass. During the stop, investigators searched the vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Kenneth Stroud, 59, of Vass, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving while his license was revoked. He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center on $2,000 bail.

Stroud was arrested last year in connection with an alleged domestic dispute.

Dakota Lundry, 21, also of Vass, was arrested and charged with possession of suspected methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and destroying criminal evidence. He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center on $2,000 bail.

Both individuals are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on November 14th.
