This comes after Bruce's ex-wife Demi Moore shared an update on his health during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, saying he is in “stable condition under the circumstances.”

The couple were married between 1987 and 2000 and have three children together: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. She also spoke about how she has advised her children to deal with the ongoing family health crisis.

“What I tell my kids is that you meet them where they are,” Moore said on the show. “You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but rather who they are in that moment.”

“And from that comes such beauty and joy, love and sweetness. When I'm in LA I drive over every week and I really appreciate the time we all spend together,” she added.

Although Bruce and Moore have been divorced for more than 24 years, they maintain a warm relationship for the benefit of their children. Their daughter Rumer opened up about how the two have managed to stay close while raising separate families during the Los Angeles premiere of their film “Trail of Vengeance” on Thursday, October 17.

“He’s doing really well,” she said E! News. “I saw him the other day right before I left and we all had to go over and it was so wonderful.”

She also gushed about Bruce's role as grandfather to her daughter Louetta, who she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas.

“She is the only grandchild. It’s just beautiful,” Rumer shared. “I feel like it’s just a wonderful thing to be able to share in a new era of life and grandchildren.”

The actress continued: “And, you know, especially because he's such a girl's dad anyway. I mean, having another girl is pretty cool.”

Rumer praised Bruce and Moore for setting a good example when it comes to creating a blended family.

“I’m so grateful,” Rumer said People. “I think one of the most beautiful things I've witnessed about my parents' relationship is still just their love and support for each other.”

“It means so much to me, the way my mother – and I think all my sisters and I – the way my mother is there for all of us while we're working with this, the way she's working with this, even how she treats my other little sisters,” she explained.

“We go to Emma’s house for dinner with the girls and we’re a family,” she added. “And I think family can look different in a lot of ways, but it just depends on what it means.”

Rumer went on to share what the relationship dynamic was like in their home, explaining that Bruce and Moore were able to work out a co-parenting plan that never made their children feel like they were “against each other.”

“I never had to split up a holiday. We never had to split family vacations, Christmas or birthdays. And I think a lot of times it’s just our own ego,” Rumer shared.

“If you put your children first, if you argue with that person and you can't put aside everything that's important to your child, then that's on you. That's how I think about it. And I know it's challenging sometimes,” she added.
