The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers played the second of two NBA openers on Tuesday. There was a lot of buzz surrounding this matchup as fans expected to witness history in which LeBron James and his son Bronny James become the first father-son duo to share an NBA court together.

While they were the first to make it in the NBA, there was already a father-son duo in the MLB. Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. achieved it while playing for the Seattle Mariners, a milestone they achieved on August 31, 1990.
