Big warming trend this week

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – It will be mostly clear and cold again tonight as low temperatures drop to the mid to upper 30s along the lakeshore and upper 20s to low 30s elsewhere and it will widespread frost comes.

On Monday the sky will be mostly sunny, with temperatures rising to over 60°C.

An increasing southwesterly wind on Tuesday and Wednesday will bring afternoon temperatures well over 70°C despite additional cloud cover.

Halloween on Thursday will be the most active day this week. It will stay windy all day. The morning hours will remain mostly dry, while showers will move in from the west in the afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. These showers will continue into the evening hours and may impact trick-or-treating plans. In any case, be prepared for continued blustery and chilly conditions during trick-or-treating season, when temperatures will drop into the 60s.

Friday will remain mostly cloudy and cool with high temperatures in the mid 50s.

The sun returns on Saturday as temperatures climb back into the 50s.
