Sanborn, North Dakota man dies in rollover accident

BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A man from Sanborn, North Dakota, died after a rollover crash in Barnes County Tuesday morning.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, this happened just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, on Barnes County Road 22 near 102nd Avenue Southeast, about 3 miles west of Sanborn.

A man was driving west on County Road 22 when the SUV entered the northbound shoulder and he lost control of the vehicle. He drove back onto the road but ended up in the south ditch, where the SUV rolled.

According to the Highway Patrol, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the SUV. A 30-year-old Sanborn man died from his injuries. His name will be released after family is notified.
