The National Weather Service has issued frost and freeze warnings for Monday morning as temperatures drop into the 30s. Areas west of the Blue Ridge are no longer receiving freeze warnings as the growing season ended earlier this month.

We're wrapping up October, which means the peak of fall foliage has arrived or is about to arrive! The Greenbrier and areas along and west of the Blue Ridge Parkway will experience peak conditions this weekend.

In other places (orange areas) the colors are changing quickly but are not quite at their peak yet. . Peak fall foliage will be reached in all areas in the next 1-2 weeks.
