The Baltimore Ravens have an MVP front-runner in Lamar Jackson, the NFL's leading rusher in Derrick Henry, and now they have a new big-name starter for their wide receiver corps with the acquisition of Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday. The Ravens announced they have agreed to a deal pending Johnson passing his physical exam.

The Panthers will receive a future fifth-round draft pick from the Ravens as part of the deal, while Baltimore will also receive a sixth-round draft pick from Carolina, CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones confirms.

Johnson, who landed in Carolina via a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, was widely expected to be available before the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 5. He recently sat out the Panthers' Week 8 loss because of a rib injury, but was Carolina's best passer on the field, securing 30 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns in seven games.

Johnson joins Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman at the top of Baltimore's receiving corps, a day after the Ravens lost a close divisional game to the Cleveland Browns.
