1 injured in shooting in North Las Vegas | Shootings

A brawl in North Las Vegas led to a shooting Tuesday night that left one injured, police said.

According to Officer Roberto Vaquera of the North Las Vegas Police Department, a fight broke out between two people and shots were fired. Officers responded to the scene of the crash at the northwest corner of Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard around 7:15 p.m., where they found an injured victim. The person was taken to University Hospital and is in stable condition, police said in a statement.

The suspect is still at large, police said.

The shooting victim, an adult male, is believed to be in his mid-20s, police said. He was found with a gunshot wound outside an apartment in the 4000 block of Adabella Avenue.

“Patrol [is] looking for a shooting suspect,” Vaquera said in the email.

No further details were released, but police said the shooting was an isolated incident.
