An 18 year old man Wanted for shooting at a SEPTA bus that struck three women in West Philadelphia He is in custody after his arrest in Middletown, Delaware, earlier this month, the U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said Wednesday afternoon.

Raphael Ezeamaka was taken into custody after his arrest at an apartment complex in Middleton, the U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said in a statement social contributionwith assistance from the U.S. Marshals Delaware Fugitive Task Force. He was found in an apartment near the Ramuno and Rosie rides.

According to the press release from the U.S. Marshals Service's Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force, investigators had information that Ezeamaka was at an apartment in Middleton, and when Philadelphia and Wilmington marshals went to the apartment and knocked, they said Ezeamaka was trying to To leave the apartment balcony on the second floor.

Ezeamaka was eventually arrested in a bedroom. He is being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution and will be extradited to Philadelphia.

Marshals said Ezeamaka fired multiple shots at a Route G SEPTA bus after getting off on Oct. 8, hitting three women — a 29-year-old, a 56-year-old and a 60-year-old. All three women were considered stable and expected to be fine.

According to the news release, Ezeamaka is charged with three counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting.

The US Marshals Service Philadelphia announced this last week a reward of up to $5,000 for Ezeamaka's arrest.

“Ezeamaka’s arrest should reassure the citizens of Philadelphia that fugitive violent criminals will be aggressively pursued no matter where they flee,” Robert Clark, deputy marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said in the news release.
