Firefighters battle major fire in New Haven – NBC Connecticut

Firefighters are battling a major fire in New Haven and flames and heavy smoke can be seen from Interstate 95.

The fire appears to have started in a commercial building on the corner of River and Ferry Streets. Police said there were heavy traffic jams in the area.

Smoke can be seen from the state Department of Transportation traffic cameras in the area of ​​Exit 50.
