Police investigate fatal crash, lanes closed on I-10 West in Piedras

According to El Paso Police, just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, one person died in a pedestrian accident at the I-10 West exit and Piedras Street. Special traffic investigators are on site.

The police did not release any further information.

Traffic is being diverted to the Copia and Cotton exits with no clearance time available, EPPD indicated on X. Motorists should seek an alternative route to avoid the study area.
