An employee said they found the packages scattered in the lobby and confronted them, whereupon they denied taking anything. The employee said he would look at the camera footage again and the men left along with the woman pictured below.

Lincoln Crime Stoppers said this is an example of how they approach every case reported to them, whether it's a petty theft or a more serious crime.

In the second case, three adults entered the NP Mart at 28th and O Streets around 3 a.m. on Oct. 23. Lincoln police said the black man (pictured below) was asked to show his slot machine ID but refused.

When the clerk told him he couldn't receive a cash reward without ID, she said he began making threatening gestures and refused to get off the slot machine or leave the store until police had to be called. He left shortly before police arrived, but LPD is still trying to make contact with him.

They say he was seen arriving as a passenger in a blue Chevy Equinox with Woodhouse dealer plates. LPD called Woodhouse but had no record of a blue Chevy Equinox being sold recently. Lincoln Crime Stoppers believes the dealer plates may have been stolen from another vehicle.
