Nicole Kidman's double denim look was so '90s

There are a few style basics that simply exude 90s nostalgia. There's the barely visible slip dress. The cargo pants. The oversized dungarees. And of course double denim. Nicole Kidman simply went for the nostalgic '90s all-denim look in her latest outfit.

On Saturday evening, Kidman attended the Concert for Carolina benefit show in Charlotte. The show, which raised money for Hurricane Helene relief, featured country stars like Luke Combs, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor and Kidman's own husband Keith Urban taking the stage. Of course, she embraced her inner country girl for the occasion.

Kidman wore a cropped black denim jacket paired with fitted black skinny jeans. She kept her look casual, wearing her blonde hair in a low side-parted ponytail and opting for a simple makeup look.

Kidman took the stage with her husband, where she revealed to the audience that it was a very special evening for her. “[We’re] “I’m here with you all tonight because Eric Keith called,” Kidman said. “I want to say that tonight is his birthday… And he wanted to be here with you.” So here we go. Eric Church called him and here we are.”

Kidman and Urban shared a kiss on stage before Eric Church joined them to lead the audience with a rendition of “ “Happy Birthday.”

Kidman and Urban have been married for 18 years. After meeting at an event in 2005, Kidman realized Urban was “the one” on her 38th birthday. The couple tied the knot the following year. Earlier this year, Urban presented his wife with a lifetime achievement award at the American Film Institute gala. “If you want to see what love in action really looks like, give it a try… She chose love and here we are tonight, 18 years later… That's the thing about Nic, she loves and she loves this Life. ” he said in his speech. “In fact, I've never met anyone who has such passion for life… Nic is not jaded, she's not cynical, she's definitely not complacent… She has the ability to love like no one , I've ever met… Happy birthday little girl, I love you.

Urban spoke with in May People about the pressure he still feels when performing in front of Kidman like he did last night. “It fires me up a little bit more,” he said, adding, “I’m trying to impress her.”
