Man seriously injured in accident in Mansfield

A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Mansfield on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they received a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of North Main Street and South Main Street.

Officials at the scene said the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and requested a rescue flight.

Police said he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

It is unclear what caused the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
