Heartbreaking video shows the moment a professional skydiver plunged to her death after both parachutes failed in a fatal fall.

Carolina Muñoz Kennedy, 40, a professional skydiver from Chile, was making a jump in Boituva, Brazil, on Saturday when she ran into difficulties with her parachutes, according to news agency Diario AS.

Eyewitnesses told local news that she attempted an emergency landing but ended up on the street.

“She was lying there on the ground waiting for help and people called the fire department and the police. “I was incredibly sad and shocked,” eyewitness José Soares de Melo told local media.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident and administered first aid. She was taken to a nearby hospital but later died from her injuries.
