Beetlejuice

After Barbara and Adam Maitland die in a car accident, they are stuck at their country estate and cannot leave the house. When the insufferable Deetzes and their teenage Lydia buy the house, the Maitlands try to scare them away, to no avail. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice, a wild spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and the innocent Lydia.

Three generations of the Deetz family return to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is soon turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter discovers a mysterious portal to the afterlife. Hocus pocus

After moving to Salem, Massachusetts, teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and her new friend Allison. After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who once lived in the house. Now, with the help of a talking cat, the children must steal the witches' spell book to prevent them from becoming immortal.

Practical magic

Sally and Gillian Owens, born into a magical family, largely avoided witchcraft themselves. But when Gillian's villainous friend Jimmy Angelov dies unexpectedly, the Owens sisters undergo a crash course in hard magic. As police officer Gary Hallet becomes suspicious, the girls fight to revive Angelov – and unknowingly inject his corpse with an evil spirit that threatens to destroy their family line.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

This classic “Peanuts” story focuses on blanket-holding Linus and his touching belief in the Great Pumpkin. When Linus finds out that no one else believes in the creature, he sets out to prove that the pumpkin is not a myth by spending the night alone in a pumpkin patch. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang trick-or-treats and enjoys a party.

Room on the broom

This show is based on Julia Donaldson's picture book, which tells the story of a friendly witch who invites a group of animals to join her on her broomstick. Although her cat fears it's too crowded, her new friends come in handy when the witch is threatened by a fearsome dragon.
