Transformers reveals a first look at the upcoming video game with debut trailer

In the 40 years of its existence, the Transformers The franchise includes numerous comics, toys, films, anime and video games. Now a new game is on the way that pits Autobots and Decepticons against each other in a familiar format.

Transformers Multi Shock is the latest video game featuring robots in disguise and is more than a little reminiscent of a roguelike shoot-em-up hit. The upcoming title brings together characters from the franchise's past and promises fans plenty of action-packed gameplay and customization options. Unfortunately, details are still scarce, so fans will have to wait until the upcoming game actually releases.

An upcoming Transformers diorama is sure to brighten fans' darkest hour with an epic tribute to Optimus Prime and the Generation 1 Autobots.

The latest Transformers game is reminiscent of vampire survivors

With characters shooting from a top-down perspective, Transformers Multi Shock is a new roguelike game just announced by Takara (the operator of the franchise in Japan). When fans select a Transformer of their choice, they can deploy and blow up legions of enemy robot hordes seemingly made up of Sharkticons, Allicons and other drones sent by the alien Quintessons. Given these mutual enemies, it makes sense that both Autobots and Decepticons can be selected as playable characters. In addition to the Autobot leader Optimus Prime and the legendary Bumblebee, Starscream, Thundercracker, Blurr, Hound and other Transformers are there. Beast Wars Maximal leader Optimus Primal and the villainous Decepticon leader Megatron (who transforms into a tank, providing a modern update to his classic weapon alt mode).

The format and gameplay are similar to video games such as B. very similar Vampire survivorswhich suggests there will also be customization options for characters and their weapons. At various points in the trailer, numbers can be seen on the screen, which can represent damage, EXP or points. Apparently up to three Transformers can be deployed at once, with characters charging at enemies while dodging their fire. A giant Quintesson Judge can also be seen in the game's first trailer, suggesting that it will be some sort of boss or mini-boss in the game. It is not yet known whether the game will be released internationally or which systems it will be playable on. So fans will have to stay tuned to find out when they can destroy their enemies while playing as their favorite Autobots and Decepticons.
