Badgers news: Start time, channel announced for Wisconsin's opener

The start of the 2024-25 college basketball season is finally upon us as the Wisconsin Badgers face a new opponent for the first time this year, taking on UW-River Falls in an exhibition game on Wednesday.

Wisconsin's season officially begins next Monday against Holy Cross, but first is the in-state game against River Falls, with kickoff set for tonight at 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers have a very different roster outlook this year as seven players have left the program while six new faces have joined, with each newcomer this year having a good chance of contributing to the rotation.
