How to watch Los Angeles Clippers vs Portland Trail Blazers: TV channel, NBA live stream information, start time

Mid-term report

After trailing by two at the end of the first quarter, the Trail Blazers are now in the lead. They appeared to be the better team at 54-50, but there are still two quarters to play.

The Trail Blazers entered the contest with added motivation after suffering a loss the last time these two teams met. We'll see if they can flip the script or if it'll just stay more of the same.

What you should know

The Trail Blazers are 1-9 against the Clippers since October 2021, but they have a chance to close the gap a bit on Wednesday. The Portland Trail Blazers will take on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome at 10:30 p.m. ET. The Trail Blazers are expected to lose this game by 8.5 points, so we'll see if that gives them a little motivation.

The Trail Blazers are heading into this game after oddsmakers set last week's low over/under at 231, but even that ended up being too high. On Monday, they suffered a 111-98 loss to the Kings.

Given the score, it was perhaps unsurprising that the Trail Blazers struggled to cooperate, finishing the game with just 17 assists. They were wiped out by their opponents in that department as the Kings scored 25.

Meanwhile, the Clippers defeated the Warriors 112-104 on Sunday. The win meant Los Angeles made it two straight wins.

One of the leaders was Ivica Zubac, who posted a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds. He also collected six offensive rebounds, his most since January.

Portland's loss dropped their record to 1-3. Los Angeles now has a winning record of 2-1.

Rebounding should play a big role in this contest: The Trail Blazers are on the rise this season, averaging 46.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like the Clippers have any problems in this regard, as their average is 47.7. With both teams struggling to contain misses, we'll see if one team can gain an edge.

The Trail Blazers came up just short against the Clippers in their last game in March, losing 125-117. Luckily for the Trail Blazers, Paul George (who went 10-for-14 en route to 31 points plus two steals and two blocks) won't be there this time. Will that be enough to change the bottom line?
