Jermaine Eluemunor: TJ Watt didn't do anything until the strip sack in the fourth quarter

Steelers pass rusher TJ Watt was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance on Monday night against the Giants. But Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor wasn't impressed.

Eluemunor believes he largely won the one-on-one battle with Watt when he blocked him on Monday night.

“I was on an island with him for most of the game. And He didn't do anything at all. I’m not going to sit here and sing his damn praises,” Eluemunor told WFAN Radio, via SI.com. “He didn’t do anything for three and a half quarters and had one impact play.”

Of course, that one-impact play was a huge strip sack with Watt flying right past Eluemunor as the Giants had a miscommunication on offense that caused Daniel Jones to miss to call Eluemunor to get help for Watt. It's a bit strange that Eluemunor would choose to challenge Watt after a game in which he played a big role in the Giants' loss that dropped the team to 2-6.

Watt totaled seven tackles, two sacks and two tackles for a loss in the game. It's hard to imagine how anyone can say they didn't do anything at all.
