Marvel sets Deadpool & Wolverine Disney+ release date for next month

Deadpool & Wolverine will be coming to Disney+ on November 12th, Marvel has announced.

After hitting theaters on July 26th and arriving on DVD and Blu-ray last week, Marvel announced a November 12th release date as Deadpool & Wolverine's streaming debut.

The Disney+ version of the film has a bonus feature normally reserved for physical releases, as director Shawn Levy and star Ryan Reynolds have provided fans with a commentary from the filmmaker to listen to alongside the main Deadpool and Wolverine version.

Marvel is celebrating the announcement in typically strange fashion, redesigning the bathrooms at a handful of sports arenas across the US. Urinals, bathroom mirrors and towel dispensers will feature Deadpool & Wolverine branding to promote the Disney+ schedule.

Fans can enjoy the upgrades at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers game taking place today, October 30th. The FedEX Forum in Memphis will get the same treatment for the Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies game, alongside the Nationwide Arena and in Columbus for the New York Islanders and Columbus Blue Jackets game.

Those visiting the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers game tomorrow can also try out the Deadpool and Wolverine-themed bathrooms.

Deadpool & Wolverine was a much-needed smash hit for Marvel. Its wealth of references and cameos from comic book movie history attracted characters far beyond the worlds of its two titular heroes, and the film grossed $1 billion at the global box office in just its third weekend.

In IGN's 7/10 review, we said, “Deadpool & Wolverine is a hilarious superhero buddy comedy full of surprising, self-referential MCU humor and unsurprising plot and pacing issues.”
