2. fake viral video questions Bucks Campaign Office website

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. — Less than a week after a fake video showing torn ballots went viral on social media, another surfaced questioning the location of a Harris Walz campaign office in Bucks County.

Federal authorities say Russia was behind the first fake video to go viral that appeared to show torn ballots for former President Donald Trump.

The second video circulating on social media appears to question the Harris-Walz campaign's activities in Bucks County.

“We do not know who is behind these videos and whether their creators are producing this content on their own behalf or under the direction of an individual or organization,” said Bob Harvie, Bucks County Commissioner and chairman of the county Board of Elections. “Nevertheless, we are convinced that their goal is the same: these videos are being produced to incite distrust in our system and terrorize both the electorate and the people working hard to administer the election.”

The video, also published on Thursday, was viewed on the former Twitter platforms X and TikTok. It questions the location of what appears to be a Harris Walz campaign office near a supposed post office in Bucks County.

In it, an unknown man is seen wearing a “USA” baseball cap in front of an unknown shopping center, said to be located in Bucks County.

The Harris-Walz campaign has three district offices in Doylestown, Bensalem and Newtown Township.

“Here in Bucks County, we conduct elections according to the letter of the law and will not be influenced, distracted or intimidated by deliberate attempts to impair our residents’ right to vote,” Harvie said. “The people of Bucks County deserve an election they can have complete confidence in, and that’s exactly what we want to give them.”
