Police are investigating the death outside condos in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – DeKalb County police are investigating a death at a Lihtonia-area apartment complex early Thursday morning.

Investigators blocked the entrance to the Somerset condominiums in the area of ​​Somerset Parkway and Hillandale Road.

FOX 5 cameras saw the body of a man lying just inside the gate of the complex.

Investigators were on site for hours, collecting evidence and searching the area.

Details of the investigation remain scarce and officials have not released the person's name or a possible cause of death.

The area has now been reopened to traffic.
