1 Dead, 2 Injured Chain Reaction Accident in Fort Worth – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

One person is dead and two others are injured in a chain crash in Fort Worth on Thursday morning.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, southern units were dispatched to 7832 South Freeway near Sycamore School Road in response to a serious accident just before 6 a.m.

Police said a small car struck another small sedan from behind, setting off a chain-reaction crash involving five cars and a commercial vehicle.

Two people from the first vehicle were transported to JPS Hospital in serious but unknown condition, police said. A third passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
