Third arrest in a drug trafficking investigation

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) – The Daviess County Sheriff's Office has made another arrest in a case from last week.

They've already arrested Frankie Johnson and MaryAnn Taylor.

On Thursday, officials said they arrested Michael Hollingworth Jr.

They say he had meth, a loaded gun and more than a pound of marijuana.

When Johnson and Taylor were arrested last week, officers said they served a search warrant in the 700 block of Gunther Avenue.

Officers said they found a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, several narcotics packaging bags, digital scales, a large amount of cash, two large bottles of Gabapentin, syringes, glass pipes, a loaded 9mm handgun, boxes of ammunition and a shortened double Barrel shotgun.

All three face multiple charges.
