Tonight is Halloween.

This means the streets will be haunted by legions of goblin ghouls on the Candy Trail, as well as slightly more grown-up variations, all there for a little October evening entertainment.

With the holiday more popular than ever, the entertainment industry is serious about getting involved to rake in some cash. With pretty much everything from the Vancouver City Hell Show on Victoria Drive to every other popular event scheduled, it only made sense to take a look at some of this year's best music video offerings.

Freeze the Fall: VHS | 604 records

Just the reference to VHS tapes in the title of the song lets you know that this will be a trip back to ancient technologies and classic terror motifs. In fact, this song is packed with buzz saw riffs and buzzing saws. Many thanks to Two-Six Films Production for a great piece of gore. Children: Don't do this at home.

Freddie Gibbs: On Set | ESGN Records/AWAL

Actor, rapper and video director Gibbs releases his new album You Only Die 1nce at midnight tonight. Lead single “On the Set” is less spooky and more defiantly steeped in darkness. Gibbs walks through a set, working on material, and seems very, very alone.

Sabrina Carpenter: Taste | Island records

What are you saying? The only video on this list with a parental advisory is from the singer behind pop songs like Espresso? It's true. Starring Carpenter and the delightful Jenny Ortega, this clip is an extended gore-fest paired with a bouncy mid-tempo tune that gets a whole lot scarier when you dig a little deeper into the chilling verses, “You've just got to taste me when he kisses you.” and others immersed.

Carpenter brings the Short n' Sweet Tour to the Pacific Coliseum on November 4th.
