Driver of Trump's garbage truck shares how the viral moment came about

The man who drove the garbage truck Sitting on the tarmac at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport on Wednesday, former President Trump discussed the viral moment and how he came about it in an exclusive interview on The Story.

Andrew Brisson, the vice president of LoadMaster, a family-owned garbage trucking company based in Norway, Michigan, said he had just sat down to lunch when their secretary received a call from someone asking if it was possible to have a garbage truck hauled away to Green Bay, Wisconsin.

“I didn’t really believe it at first until I picked up the phone and spoke to the guy myself. And then, I guess after a quick conversation, he knew someone I knew in the industry down in the area. I kept walking.” “We looked around our parking lot, found a good-looking garbage truck, jumped in and headed to Green Bay,” Brisson told Fox News host Martha MacCallum.

A LoadMaster garbage truck was decorated with American flags and a Trump campaign sticker and a “Make America Great Again” 2024 flag.

Trump left his plane Wearing a bright orange sanitation worker safety vest, he made his way to the truck before his campaign rally in Green Bay late Wednesday night.

Trump is urging his supporters to “forgive” Biden as a show of unity after the president called supporters “trash.”

The vest was an apparent dig at President Biden, who called Trump supporters “trash.”

The White House denied that Biden was referring to Trump's supporters and instead tried to pin the blame on them Comedian Tony Hinchcliffewho called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash” at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden over the weekend.

That's all I wanted.” “The comments at this rally do not reflect who we are as a nation,” said a tweet Tuesday evening from Biden's X account, formerly Twitter.

Brisson said he and Trump weren't able to talk much because the 2024 Republican presidential nominee was answering questions from the press, but Trump shook his hand and said “hello.”

“When they were all done, I started the truck. I honked the horn and then he looked over at me and said, can you give me a ride in this thing? Yes, I can do that. And you know, I released the parking brake, put the car in drive and drove off,” Brisson recalls. “I think, as Trump said, we only moved a foot or two and then the Secret Service started glaring at me and waving their hands and that was the end of the ride.”
