TThe tragedy surrounding the death of former One Direction member Liam Payne continues to cause shock and speculation. Argentine prosecutors confirmed on Tuesday that the results of toxicology and histopathological studies related to the singer's autopsy following his death last week in Buenos Aires have not yet been made public.

In a statement, the prosecution said Liam's father, Geoff Payne, was informed of the status of the investigation. “The representative of the public prosecutor's office informed the father that the toxicological and histopathological studies complementary to the autopsy had not yet been completed and that their results were necessary to determine the release of the body,” the PO explained.

The anticipation for the toxicology results is palpable as they could be announced later this week.
