Patriots DT noticed something different about Jets QB Aaron Rodgers

New England Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux noticed something about New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers during the Patriots' surprising 25-22 win on Sunday.

The defensive tackle noticed that the legendary quarterback wasn't moving as usual.

All in all, Rodgers still had solid play under center. He completed 17 of 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon. Still, New England made sure the Jets' offense scored every point and they were able to put pressure on the quarterback a few times.

Godchaux had three tackles in the game and played a big role in containing the Jets' running game. He also noted that Rodgers didn't seem to be himself in terms of mobility, as MassLive's Mark Daniels transcribed.

“Hall of Fame quarterback,” Godchaux said. “It’s a shame to see him go out like that… He definitely doesn’t look the same anymore. He kept going back there – [expletive] I could overrun him and catch him. He doesn't look mobile at all. That’s good for us.”

The Patriots picked up their second win of the season on Sunday thanks to some late-game heroics and sustained defensive pressure. One has to wonder if this game will be a springboard for the rest of the season.
