Motorcyclist critically injured after crash on Oahu's North Shore

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash on Oahu's North Shore.

Officials said the accident involved a motorcycle and a car. It happened around 4:45 p.m. on Kamehameha Highway near Ke Nui Road.

According to EMS, a 26-year-old man was treated and transported to a nearby hospital. The condition of the woman driving the car was listed as stable.

Authorities have closed Kamehameha Highway toward Haleiwa as the investigation continues.
