Innovation Forum “AI for Drug Research” | BU Today

Yvonne Hao, secretary of the Bay State Executive Office of Economic Development, spoke at BU's AI for Drug Discovery Innovation Forum, held Oct. 30 in the BU Center for Computing & Data Sciences. The aim of the forum was to build a world-class open research community to advance the development, evaluation and large-scale deployment of basic AI models to accelerate scientific advances in drug discovery. The event was hosted by the Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering and the BU Bioengineering Technology Entrepreneurship Center in collaboration with RedHat, IBM, the Cleveland Clinic, the AI ​​Alliance and the Mass Open Cloud Alliance and featured remarks from private sector experts, Healthcare providers, academia, the NIH and state government.
